The soft violet and yellow iris were my father-in-law's favorite flowers in their garden. I was able to get a nice clump from their yard before their house was sold. I love the way they bloom against my stairs and always think of him as I pass by `his' iris. This oil painting is a tribute to 'his' flowers.
