Jeanne Cuddeford is a member of On-line Plein Air Artists, the Westside Art Guild, the Paint Out Group, the Village Gallery of Arts, and the Yamhill County Arts Alliance. Her work has been shown in many exhibits in the Pacific Northwest. In the summer, she can be found painting in the lavender fields, farmers markets, fields of crimson or wheat that is ready to harvest.
Painting primari...ly in oil, Jeanne combines a quiet realism with an impressionist view in her landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
"Art is best when we create from things we love. I am energized when standing at the edge of a crimson clover field putting paint on my canvas. The light and shadows quickly change so the challenge is to make the scene `seem to stand still'."
